The piece is a draft, but obviously since I posted it on my site, comments are welcome– either specific suggestions or criticisms dealing with the piece itself, or on the larger question of “using” STS outside the world of academic research and teaching.
Eventually I hope to get it to a stable enough state to submit it to a real publisher. Though perhaps we’re now finally at the point where– for quirky pieces like this one, at least– we can circulate manuscripts this way, and bypass the journals entirely?
